I gave this item to my 9-year-old daughter who lost a tooth, and she is absolutely delighted! The cubes are easy to manipulate and glide well. It’s perfect!
The Rubik’s Cube is not the same: After being able to solve it in very respectable times, if you leave it aside for years, well… you have to start from scratch or close to it. Personally, I still had in mind 2 automatisms to do the second layer of the cube, but that’s all.
Decent quality, if you drop it the color surface will pop off. But strong enough to play with. A bit loose the mechanism. But for the price not bad to start my son off with this hobby.
I recommend these to Rubik’s cube enthusiasts – they are very light, highly maneuverable, and well-made. They are very difficult to break, even though they are lightweight, and are excellent for competitions as all the cube parts turn perfectly like butter.

I bought these 2 Rubik’s cubes for my 6-year-old child.
He got passionate about the models offered by a fast food brand, and to be honest, those models turn much faster on the 2×2, he goes too fast and we can’t even be calm for 5 minutes.
The 2×2 version allows learning to manipulate the cubes, and the 3×3 version to add a bit more complexity when you can handle the first one without problems.

The colors are nice, it withstands falls and the mistreatment of his younger brothers and sisters .
The 3×3 is a bit smaller than I was expecting and smaller than the original. But it’s fine. Both cubes rotate easily and can apparently be tightened if necessary.
I still didn’t have a 2×2. This set allows me to have a 2×2 and a 3×3 (more compact than the standard one, but ultimately just as good) for a nice price. The latest developments/optimizations give these cubes excellent maneuverability and perfect fluidity.
They glide well and are very fast. Excellent quality. My nephew really liked them. Highly recommended

The 2x2x2 version has the exact same issue. It also has smooth, clickless rotations, but since it’s only 2 sides, jams are less likely. As mentioned, the 3x3x3 version is really terrible in this regard.
I had opted for this purchase mainly for the 2x2x2 version, but I will definitely also consider getting a pure magnetic cube for that variant.
Final result? I gifted both cubes to my 6-year-old niece, as even if she destroys them quickly, it’s still a very low-cost purchase… If you’re looking for good cubes, WITHOUT A DOUBT, go for other options.
I’m a Rubik’s Cube fanatic. I have about sixty of them, from 2×2 to 7×7. Some are duplicates, the rest are all different. Some are from the 80s, particularly recognizable because their mechanisms were a bit stiff, and you had to put a little oil in the mechanisms to make them turn better.
I stopped at the 7×7.
I’m 73 years old, and in the 1980s to 86, I could solve the 3×3 in 53 or 54 seconds (*), with a stopwatch, and the 4×4 in a little more time, which is normal, but I think I remember in 1 minute and 15 or 16 seconds. Today I solve the 3×3 in 3 or 4 minutes using a few algorithms, the same ones I found over 30 years ago in the book Le Rubick’cube” by Josef Trajber.
Good luck to the people who read me and never forget, never, that when you know how to solve your cubes, you must do them at least twice a day, morning and evening, regularly THROUGHOUT your life, avoiding skipping too many days, especially not for years, to maintain your skills, maintain your memory.

Lovely bright colors, easy to turn, and loved by my 8-year-old as her first cube.
Visually they look very nice, but unfortunately they are not super durable.
There is a weird noise heard when shifting the 3×3 cube
